Hi, my name is Yoko and I am the maker behind Studio Collectionaise. I started this creative business in late 2019 to share my passion for creativity. 

Since I was a child, I have always loved making things. For me, creativity has always been a powerful tool for self expression and relaxation. But I didn't realize just how much creativity means to me until I faced one of the most challenging moments in my life. 

In 2017, just 3 months after giving birth to my daughter, I was diagnosed with an early stage of cancer. The news combined with the pressure of becoming a new parent hit me hard. I found myself battling depression, stress and anxiety. I started working on creative projects to distract myself from negative thoughts and slowly, I started to feel in control of my feelings again.

The main aim of Studio Collectionaise is to inspire others to create. The blog offers fun and simple craft & play ideas that you could do on your own or with your child. I also organize playful craft workshops for both kids and grown-ups so we can feel positive and energized through the process of making and connecting with one another. We all live busy lives, full of challenges, and I hope Studio Collectionaise helps you feel relaxed, happy, confident and discover the joy of creativity.
